They were locked in a car, along with an African spurred tortoise named Barney, who also lives at Noah’s Ark. Alison and I haven’t canceled HBO yet (after Curb ended), but I caught the 25th Anniversary RNR Hall of Fame Concert, with extremely embarrassing sets from U2 and Metallica. What a joke. I actually thought Jeff Beck kicked a lot of ass, though.

I get shivers just reading down this list. Partially from reflecting on the music itself and partly because I have spent a shit-ton of money on albums in the last ten years.

I agree with the list for the most part, which is a pretty bold statement as these types of lists have a tendency to be highly irritating. Especially if it’s something you’re specifically invested in; like discovering and appreciating music.

I suppose my biggest personal beef is that my bestie Ryan Adams doesn’t pop up until 38, but I suppose I can appreciate it’s placements as there are plenty of other solid albums before it (minus 50 Cent’s “Get Rich or Die Trying.”)

Besides, who doesn’t love Kid A?

What do you think?

its a safe, but hard to argue-with list. I would argue against including two bob dylan albums, let alone one, in the top twenty, and I think that 50 cent is a singles artist and that his albums mostly suck. I also would take U2 out altogether, but, obviously, Rolling Stone can’t do that.
